Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in Saint Peter's by-
the-Sea Episcopal Church. We are a warm, relaxed, open church where dress
is casual and the people are friendly. We are a medium-sized parish located
in beautiful Swansboro, North Carolina . Swansboro is nicknamed the
“friendly city-by-the-Sea” and we at Saint Peters take great pride in being a
warm, friendly and welcoming church. We are affiliated with The Episcopal
Church of the United States as a member of the Diocese of Eastern Carolina.
We have are a diverse parish with a good mix of beach lovers, retirees,
middle age, military families and families with small children. Our 10:30
service has a year round staffed nursery for infants to three years and Sunday
School classes for children from 4 years through middle school age
youngsters.
We have an attendance of around 150 worshipers on an average Sunday but
our numbers can swell during holidays and the tourist season We welcome
everyone to our church whether you are a member, prospective member,
military, visitor, tourist or just a person of any Christian faith just looking for
a place to worship God. If you are looking for a Christian church home we

On Sunday morning, Saint Peters conducts a Rite I service of Holy Eucharist
(Communion) at 8:00 a.m. and at 10:30 service a Eucharist using Rite II. All
Christians are welcome to the Lord’s Table in the Episcopal Church. The
10:30 service also provides Sunday School and an attended nursery for
infants to 24 months. In addition, we have a midweek Eucharist each
Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Calling Tree
The Calling Tree makes calls pertaining to information that needs to be passed around the Congregation. Such as reminders of upcoming events, reminders of meetings of the various groups, emergency calls and anything else we are requested to make calls for.
There are 14 ladies on the Calling Tree, they are: Audrey Brokaw, Jeanne Jones, Bobbie Strope, Jane Brooks, Rose Clarkin, Pat Corbin, Ruby McLaughlin, Margaret Larson, Janice Mashburn, Jackie Foster, Yvonne Gallagher, Evelyn Wegman, Betty McGurn (Co-Chairman), and Bea Fike (Chairman).
